Law of Agency
One of the legal requirements for me as a licensed real estate agent is that I provide my clients with a pamphlet called the "Law of Agency". This pamphlet describes in detail the legal requirements that I have to abide by as your agent. The Law of Agency pamphlet covers many situations including:
How a Seller's Agent must behave to his/her client.
How a Buyer's Agent must behave to his/her client.
How an Agent must behave to people involved in a transaction that aren't his/her clients.
How an Agent must treat confidential information.
The Duties that an Agent has towards hit clients and other participants.
