Tax Credit to Down Payment
In the Seattle Times article "Tax credit can be bridge to new home" published May 23, 2009 and then followed by the article "Federal cash for mortgage down payments" published June 7, 2009, there is some explanation about how the first time homebuyer's federal tax credit of $8,000 is now becoming money that can be used as a down payment to buy a house.
